STGCC 2015: Adi Granov Returns Together with Jim Cheung and Stella Chuu!

The second wave of STGCC 2015 guest announcements has been released!

Returning to the Red Dot Island is artist and concept designer Adi Granov. Adi was at STGCC two years ago, as a guest under the umbrella of Play Imaginative. If one can recall, it was the year when Iron Man fever hit the convention floor. As the man behind the concept designs of the Iron Man suits featured in the movies, Adi was a hot fan favourite then, and he is *still* a hot fan favourite now.

Recently, Adi provided the variant cover art for "Star Wars #1", "Darth Vader" and "Princess Leia" comics and cover artwork for "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back" and "Star Wars: Episode VI - The Return for the Jedi".

Adi will be making announcements on commission sign-ups and other items that will be made available at STGCC. Stayed tuned for the info on his Facebook page. If you missed the chance to say hello to Adi back in 2013, don't miss meeting him and his lovely wife Tamsin this coming September!

As if having Adam Hughes as guest is not squee-worthy enough, the organizers have added Marvel penciller Jim Cheung to the list!

Jim has worked with Marvel for about 15 years, and is the co-creator of Young Avengers and has worked on various titles including series like "Infinity" and "Original Sin" as well as covers and interiors for "Secret Warriors", "Avengers: The Children's Crusade" and "Spider-Men".

He will be having an exclusive artwork available at his STGCC booth. Definitely something not to be missed!

Set to heat up the convention floor is cosplay-burlesque Stella Chuu. Stella will be striding into STGCC with her unique style of routines and costumes. This will be Stella's first appearance in Asia and fans will get the chance to meet her at her booth or at the Walk of Fame.

Three more cosplayer guests from Japan have also been announced. They are Saku and duo Kuryu & Nakoto. All three of them will be first-timers to Red Dot Island, and cosplayer fans will be charmed by their the colourful characters and costumes.

In an earlier article, Red Dot Diva had already given a heads up on Simone Legno's annual return to STGCC. His tokidoki booth, has become a mainstay of the convention and is a veritable hot spot, with long lines snaking around the area, especially when he is making meet and greet appearances.

This year, tokidoki is paying tribute to Red Dot Island's 50th birthday with a specially designed, limited edition (only 1,000 pieces) STGCC x tokidoki unicorno SG50 exclusive!

So kawaii, right? If you are able to obtain extra SG50 unicornos at STGCC, Red Dot Diva knows that her Glam Blogger Alliance pal Ed from toysetc, is willing to buy them by the crateload. :P

The exclusive is included in the VIP package that is currently on sale right now (more details below), but there will also be more information coming soon on how to get your own SG50 unicorno. Just keep your eye on this page here!

STGCC 2015 will be held from 12 to 13 September at Marina Bay Sands convention centre. Regular tickets have been available for sale beginning 1 July.
